Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Virginia Beach, VA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in the home setting. You will join a team providing safe, patient-centered care for G-tube, Trach & Ventilator needs at patient homes across Chesapeake and Suffolk.

Shifts available overnight: 10p-6a or 11p-7a. Competitive pay ($29-$35/hour) with weekly paychecks and a full benefits package including health/dental/vision, HSA, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) and more.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where practice will occur.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray on file.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care team and document nursing diagnoses.
