UPMC Community Medicine Incorporated is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support Chestnut Ridge Family Medicine in Fishertown, PA. Responsibilities include rooming patients, triage, non-stress testing training, phlebotomy, and injections, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license and be in good standing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for a fast-paced clinic.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday daytime hours with no evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood.
• Administer medications including oral, SQ, IM and IV drip.
• Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Assess patient's general condition and take vital signs and weight.
• Document all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record.
• Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.
• Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.

UPMC Community Medicine Incorporated is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support Chestnut Ridge Family Medicine in Fishertown, PA!

This position will work Monday through Friday, daylight hours, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays! This position be responsible for rooming patients for provider, triage, in-baskets, will be trained for non-stress testing, phlebotomy, and injections.

The ideal candidate will have good organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a busy, fast-paced practice.
