UPMC Susquehanna Medical Group in Williamsport is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an outpatient Primary Care office. This full-time role features weekday day shifts with occasional Saturday mornings, typically once a month, and includes a sign-on bonus.

The LPN will provide professional nursing care under supervision, perform blood draws, administer medications via multiple routes, assist physicians, monitor vital signs, and document actions in the medical record, while upholding

Qualifications

• PA license as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required.
• Experience in outpatient primary care settings is a plus.
• Ability to provide professional nursing care under supervision.

Responsabilités

• Draw blood from patients.
• Administer medications via oral, SQ, IM, and IV as directed.
• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Assess patients' condition, take vital signs and weight.
• Document all activities and medications in the medical record.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical information.
• Provide patient education and wellness resources.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

UPMC Susquehanna Medical Group is currently looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN for the outpatient Primary Care office in Williamsport. This is a full-time position that works Monday - Friday, day shifts (8:00am-4:30pm & 8:30am-5:00pm) and Saturday mornings, (8:00am-12:00pm), typically once a month. Purpose: Provides professional nursing care to office patients under supervision of patient care providers.

Responsibilities:

• Draw blood.
• Comply with requirements of appropriate regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, PA Department of Health).
• Administer medications including oral, SQ, IM and IV drip.
• Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Assess patient's general condition and take vital signs and weight.
• Comply with all policies and procedures.
• Perform IV therapy under direction of Registered Nurse.
• Document all activities/interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed/prescribed, etc., in the medical record.
• Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data.
• Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions.
