Job summary

UPMC Department of Urology in Oakland (Kaufmann Building) is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse, OP. The role is a daytime, Monday–Friday position from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm with no evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood.
• Comply with regulatory requirements (OSHA, CLIA, PA DoH).
• Administer medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV drip).
• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures and treatments.
• Assess patient condition and vital signs.
• Comply with policies and procedures.
• Perform IV therapy under RN direction.
• Document activities and patient responses in the medical record.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of medical records.
• Provide patient education and wellness materials.

UPMC Department of Urology is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse, OP to join their team out of the Kaufmann Building in Oakland!

This position will work Monday through Friday, daylight hours between 7am and 4:30pm, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays!

The ideal candidate will have good organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a busy, fast-paced practice.

Sign-On Bonus Details:

• $7,500 sign-on bonus available for nurses with over one year of experience
• $5,000 sign-on bonus available for Graduate Nurses and nurses with less than one year of experience
