Job summary

MEP Health in Denver, Colorado is seeking a patient-centered LPN to provide nursing care, support physicians, and uphold safety and quality standards.

You will administer treatments and medications, monitor patient status, educate patients on health maintenance and post-care instructions, and help orient and train new staff.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and valid Colorado LPN license.
  • BLS certification within 3 months of hire; IV therapy certification preferred.
  • Customer service focus and cultural sensitivity; bilingual skills encouraged.
  • Experience with adult, pediatric, or trauma care preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to safety, quality, and emergency policies, ensuring effective clinical practice.
  • Supports physicians during examinations and procedures, preparing patients and rooms.
  • Performs routine and specialized nursing procedures within scope of practice.
  • Monitors and reports patient status, recognizing deviations from normal health conditions.
  • Educates patients on health management and post-treatment care.
  • Assists in orienting and training new staff; may perform duties of Nursing Assistant or Medical Receptionist.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies and ensures a safe, therapeutic environment.
