Job summary

Proforma Health in Colorado is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate patient care and support physicians and clinical teams. You will prepare patients, perform routine and some specialized nursing procedures, and help maintain safety and infection control.

You will monitor patient conditions, document details, educate patients on health maintenance and post-care instructions, and assist in minor procedures and examinations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Must hold a valid Colorado Practical Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Additional certifications like IV therapy and BLS are preferred.
• Previous experience with diverse patient populations is advantageous.

Ensures patient safety by adhering to safety, infection control, and medication administration protocols. Monitors patient conditions, reports changes, and responds to emergencies. Educates patients on health maintenance and post-care instructions. Records detailed patient information and assists in minor procedures and patient examinations.
