Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. The role requires solid nursing knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering data to assess patients' physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.
• Collaborate with the registered nurse and care team in planning patient care on admission.
• Review care plans and contribute to updates and revisions.
• Provide education to patients and families and document outcomes in the medical record.
• Administer and document medications per policy and procedure.
• Delegate care to non-licensed personnel when appropriate and report to the RN.
• Report any patient condition changes to the Registered Nurse and participate in timely communication.
