Job Title: LPN/MA - OB
Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, part of Fairview Health Services, is seeking an enthusiastic LPN/MA to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with providers to deliver quality patient care and service.
- Maintaining patient flow, escorting patients, identifying needs, verifying information, administering medications, updating records, and maintaining exam rooms.
- Ordering supplies and working effectively as part of a team.

- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant - OB with provider Mahan
- Employment Type: 0.6 FTE (48 hours per pay period)

Job Summary
Under the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and CAAHEP standards, provide patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice nurse, physician, or physician assistant. Responsibilities may vary based on the assigned healthcare team and unit.
Job Duties
- Conduct focused assessments and report changes to healthcare providers.
- Participate in developing and modifying patient care plans.
- Implement delegated or prescribed patient care interventions.
- Assign tasks to other LPNs and monitor delegated tasks to medical assistants and unlicensed personnel.
- Ensure safe and effective patient care, advocate for patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Provide health information and review educational materials with patients.
- Contribute to policy and procedure development.
- Perform duties consistent with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and demonstrate accountability for care quality.
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota LPN license or Medical Assistant certification/registration (must be maintained).
- Preferred experience in ambulatory healthcare.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain positive relationships.
- BLS certification within two months of employment.
- Adherence to clinic policies, mission, and values.
- Reliable and consistent attendance.
