Inova Mount Vernon Hospital - Wound Care in Alexandria, VA is seeking an Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time days position with 9-hour shifts, four days per week. The role provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Minimum qualifications include a Vocational/Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing and Virginia LPN license with BLS certification. Preferred: 1 year of LPN or Medical Assistant experience; competitive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Registered Nurse on the execution of patient plans.
• Assists with patient education and discharge planning under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Evaluates and maintains the patient care environment to promote safety.
