10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Day Shift with a 2-year commitment for eligible candidates.

Schedule: Day shift (8a-5p), weekdays. Closed weekends and major holidays.

How you\'ll contribute

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:

• Assists Providers with preparation and information documentation for the patient\'s visit including obtaining vitals, medical history and other pertinent information from the patient.
• Prepares exam rooms for patients.
• Assists Providers with procedures as directed by the Provider.
• Assists with collection of lab samples.
• Gives injections, administers meds, and provides wound care as ordered by Provider.
• Documents all care and education in medical record.

What we\'re looking for

Applicants should have a current North Carolina or compact state Licensed Practical Nurse license and possess an associate\'s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• AHA Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
