Job summary

AdventHealth in Calhoun, Georgia is seeking a full-time nurse to monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, and ensure safety and comfort throughout care. You will maintain accurate records and collaborate with the medical team to coordinate comprehensive care and adjust plans as needed.

The role requires Technical/Vocational training and at least 1+ vocational study, as well as BLS certification, with duties including medication administration and support for physicians during

Job Description:

• Monitors patient progress and reports any changes or concerns to the supervising physician. Provides patient education and support, involving patients and their families in the care process. Ensures patient safety and comfort throughout their care. Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Communicates effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. Evaluates patient outcomes and adjusts nursing care processes as needed to ensure optimal patient care. Consults with other health team members as required to coordinate and improve patient care. Performs initial patient workup, including obtaining medical history and vital signs. Assists physicians with patient examinations and procedures. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Performs other duties as assigned.
