Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman, AZ is seeking an LPN to join our urology clinic team. You will support physicians and staff, triage patients by phone or in person, and provide professional nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.

Full-time days, M-F, 8:00am–4:30pm. The position requires graduation from a practical or vocational nursing program, an active Arizona LPN license (or compact state), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program.
• Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of the provider and the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients.
• Triage patients by phone or in person, receiving and implementing telephone physician orders, maintaining clinical communication.
• Assists providers and staff in coordinating patient care for both clinic and procedures.
• Performs CLIA waived lab tests and obtains specimens.
• Performs proficiency testing and runs controls for waived tests.
• May perform venipuncture.

Position Purpose:

LPNs assist in providing excellent patient care by assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.

Hours/Shift: Full-Time/Days M-F 8:00a-4:30p

Qualifications

• Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license

Work Requirements

Able to distinguish appropriate colors, ability to work above or below shoulder level, life to 50 pounds, and walk or be on feet 90% of the day. Expected duties have routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances.
