Mid Coast Hospital's Urology team is seeking a full-time LPN to join their team! This position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends, providing a great opportunity to utilize procedural skills acquired during LPN training. The department is friendly, supportive, and promotes a collaborative working environment.

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for LPNs:

• $5,000 for 0-1 years of experience (full-time)
• $7,500 for 1-3 years of experience (full-time)
• $10,000 for 3+ years of experience (full-time)

Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part-time LPN position. Bonus amounts are prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth employees are ineligible until more than 6 months have passed since separation.

Summary: This position involves 40 hours per week, day shifts.

The Licensed Practical Nurse - Ambulatory Care role involves performing nursing duties within the scope of practice, related to patient care in the ambulatory setting. The role includes patient and family teaching in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice practitioners, and other healthcare team members.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program required.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: One year of LPN experience preferred.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A
