Job summary

Complete Care at Holiday City in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager to lead our clinical team. You will oversee daily operations, mentor nursing staff, supervise medication administration, and ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care.

The role requires a current NJ LPN license; long-term care or sub-acute care experience is preferred. PCC software experience and a track record of staff development are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License.
• Long-term care or sub-acute care experience preferred.
• Prior staff management experience preferred.
• Proficient with PCC software and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on assigned shift and monitor medications and care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on units multiple times per shift.
• Provide education to staff, residents and families as needed.
• Assess patient needs to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Track treatments and progress in HIPAA-compliant records.
• Coordinate with physicians to support recovery and care.
• Ensure staff comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Nursing leadership.

Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Qualifications

• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required
• Experience in sub-acute care in a long-term care setting preferred
• Prior experience managing staff is preferred
• Computer Knowledge and experience using Point Click Care (PCC) software

Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units’ multiple times throughout the shift
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members
• Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator
