Job summary

Complete Care at Holiday City is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager to lead nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure the highest quality of care for residents. You will oversee rounds, coordinate with physicians, and educate team members in a collaborative, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License.
• Experience supervising nursing staff preferred.
• Experience in sub-acute long-term care and PCC software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift including medication distribution and patient care tasks.
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units multiple times per shift.
• Provide ongoing education to staff, residents, and family members as needed.
• Assess each patient's needs to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Track treatments and progress in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth resident recovery.
• Ensure staff duties comply with local, state and federal guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Nursing leadership.

Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Qualifications

• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required
• Experience in sub-acute care in a long-term care setting preferred
• Prior experience managing staff is preferred
• Computer Knowledge and experience using Point Click Care (PCC) software

Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN Unit Manager Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
• Conduct nursing rounds on all units' multiple times throughout the shift
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members
• Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator
