Job summary

Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct or indirect patient care in our urgent care setting in Fayetteville, AR. You will assist physicians, perform EKGs, basic screens, and routine procedures, while documenting vitals and patient information.

Qualifications include an LPN diploma, 12-18 months experience, and an active LPN license. Bilingual abilities and EMR experience are preferred; Urgent Care background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduation certificate from accredited LPN school of nursing.
• 12-18 months related experience and/or training.
• LPN License.
• Bilingual, preferred.
• EMR Experience, preferred.
• Prior Urgent Care experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solicit information regarding the nature of the patients visit; observe and record vital signs.
• Set up as directed for procedures and exams; assist physician as needed.

Overview

The Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physicians' practice.

Responsibilities:

• Solicit information regarding the nature of the patients visit; observe and record vital signs
• Set up as directed for procedures and exams; assist physician as needed
• Perform EKGs, vision, and hearing screens, nebulizer treatments, change dressing, remove suture and staples as needed
• Perform lab tests as directed
