Job summary

Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN night shifts. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and assist with assessments, care planning, and timely documentation in a leading inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia LPN license (single-state) or compact license.
• If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new PSOR before employment begins.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• IV Certification preferred or obtained within six months.
• Minimum six months of acute care or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Assists with patient assessments and contributes to care planning
• Administers treatments and medications within scope of practice
• Supports interdisciplinary care interventions focused on rehabilitation progress
• Documents patient information accurately and in a timely manner
• Provides care appropriate to the age and condition of the patient
• Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and patient advocacy

What we're looking for

Applicants should have an active Virginia LPN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
• IV Certification preferred or obtained within six months
• Minimum six months of acute care or rehabilitation experience preferred (new graduates are welcome to apply)
