Job summary

Anderson Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN position at our acute rehab hospital in Edwardsville. You will provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process and work with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
  • Current state licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process—Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
  • Collaborate closely with patients, families, and our interdisciplinary care team to create personalized care plans.
  • Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians, supervisors, and colleagues.
  • Play a key role in the discharge planning process to support safe, successful transitions.

As aLicensed Practical Nurse,you'llbe a trusted partner in our patients' recovery journeys. You will:

Qualifications and requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
  • Current state licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse.
Additional requirements include:
  • CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
  • Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
