Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Rehabilitation LPN for the night shift. This full-time role supports RNs with initial assessments, rehab interventions, and ongoing patient care in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state
• BLS certification
• Minimum six months of acute care or rehabilitation nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN with initial assessments and patient reassessments per policy.
• Identify and implement appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
• Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments under RN supervision.
• Deliver care based on patient response to treatment and update the interdisciplinary plan accordingly.
• Assess and reassess pain; use appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families.
• Perform all patient care tasks in a manner that promotes patient safety and reduces medical errors.
• Develop and implement individualized teaching plans based on patient and family learning needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state or compact state LPN license. Additional requirements include:

• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).


• Experience: Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred


• Licenses: Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.


• Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
