Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital in Oklahoma City invites a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Float Pool on a fulltime night schedule. The role emphasizes bedside assessment, patient-centered care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of rehabilitation nursing.

Candidates should possess an active RN license, an associate degree in nursing, and BLS certification, with prior Med-Surg or rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license active (state or compact).
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required (AH A).
• Prior Med-Surg or Rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Licenses: Must have a current RN license.
• Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
• Previous Med Surg/Rehabilitation Experience Preferred
