Job summary

Spring View Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Night Shift LPN/RN to join our clinical team in a supportive, team-focused environment. The role offers a full-time weekday-leaning night schedule with a weekday-only shift pattern.

The ideal candidate is an RN or LPN licensed in Kentucky with at least one year of long-term care experience, strong communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Kentucky.
• Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and bedside manner required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients per nursing principles.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans.
• Prepare and administer medications and document administration and reactions as required.
• Record patient vital signs and monitor equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Support discharge planning and collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely records and uphold standards of conduct and compliance.

LPN/RN Responsibilities:

Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. In addition to general nursing care, responsibilities of Nurses include (but are not limited to):

• Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans

• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.

• Records patients medical information and vital signs.

• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.

• Initiates corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology

• Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.

• Changes dressings, insert catheters, starts IVs

• Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination and treatment of patient

• Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol

• Participates in discharge planning.

• Utilizes time management skills.

• Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.

• Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting

LPN/RN Requirements:

• Current LPN or RN license in State.

• At least one year of experience as an LPN or RN in a long-term care setting is preferred.
