Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Wisconsin is required.
• 1+ year of LPN experience is preferred, especially in acute care.
• CPR certification is required; ACLS & BLS certifications are preferred.

About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll be a key contributor to our patient care team, delivering skilled nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in alignment with physician orders. Your role is essential in supporting individualized care plans, administering treatments, and ensuring a safe and healing environment for every patient. You’ll collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide responsive, high-quality care.

Position Highlights at a Glance

• Caseload: ~7 patients
• Average Patient Length of Stay: 10–14 days
• Conditions: Stroke, brain & spinal cord injuries, cardiac, orthopedics, complex medical, and more
• Team Approach: Work closely with PT/OT/ST, physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy & more
• Advanced Care: IVs, trachs, wound care, mobility support, lines, tubes, and drains
• 12‑hour shifts, 3 days/week + rotating weekends/holidays (with added pay)

What You’ll Need

• LPN License (State of Wisconsin)
• CPR required; ACLS & BLS preferred
• 1+ year of LPN experience preferred (Acute care a plus)

Physical Requirements

Throughout a shift: significant standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, and pulling. Exposure to bodily fluids possible. Requires good visual acuity, hearing, manual dexterity, and close vision to adjust focus.
