Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for per diem shifts in Western Massachusetts.

You will provide essential medical care, monitor health, and manage medications for clients in recovery from substance use disorders, while maintaining nursing notes and logs. This position supports collaboration with case managers and clinicians within a large behavioral health organization guided by HEART values.

Qualifications

• Active LPN licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration.
• Experience with substance use disorder programs.
• Willingness to work per diem and coverOrange and Greenfield locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic medical care, health monitoring and medication management for clients in recovery from substance use disorders.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, med logs, incident reports, and progress notes.
• Document communication with providers, referrals, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with case managers, primary care providers, outpatient addiction treatment centers, and mental health professionals.
• Participate in team meetings and help maintain a structured, safe, recovery-oriented environment.

Here’s what you will do:

• Play an essential support role in providing basic medical care, health monitoring and medication management for clients in recovery from substance use disorders.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, med logs, incident reports, and progress notes.

Participate in team meetings and collaborate with clinical and recovery staff.

Who you are:

• Active licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration (required).
• Experience with substance use disorder programs.
• Working knowledge of ethics and legal parameters of working with substance abuse clients (preferred).

PAY: $43.00 per hour
