Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN) seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Massachusetts team. You will provide basic medical care, health monitoring and medication management for clients in recovery from substance use disorders, supported by BHN’s values and comprehensive benefits.

You will maintain nursing notes, med logs and progress notes, document communications with providers, and collaborate with case managers, primary care and addiction treatment professionals.

Qualifications

• Active LPN licensure by the MA Board of Registration.
• Experience with substance use disorder programs.
• Working knowledge of ethics and legal parameters (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide basic medical care, health monitoring and medication management for clients in recovery from substance use disorders.
• Maintain nursing notes, med logs, incident reports, and progress notes.
• Document communication with providers, referrals, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with case managers, primary care providers, outpatient addiction treatment centers, and mental health professionals.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with clinical and recovery staff.
• Help maintain a structured, safe, and recovery-oriented environment.

Here’s What You Will Do

• Play an essential support role in providing basic medical care, health monitoring and medication management for clients in recovery from substance use disorders.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, med logs, incident reports, and progress notes.
• Document communication with providers, referrals, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with case managers, primary care providers, outpatient addiction treatment centers, and mental health professionals.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with clinical and recovery staff.
• Help maintain a structured, safe, and recovery-oriented environment.

Who You Are

• Active licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration (required).
• Experience with substance use disorder programs.
• Working knowledge of ethics and legal parameters of working with substance abuse clients (preferred).

PAY: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
