Job summary

Luxor at Sayville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Farmingville, NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. Provide direct care for residents in our Skilled Unit and Long Term Care Unit and participate in medication administration.

You will work under the supervision of the Administrator and DON, with opportunities to supervise CNAs, document vital signs, and collaborate with physicians and families. Competitive hourly pay and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in SNF or long-term care preferred.
• IV administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents in Skilled and Long Term Care units.
• Administer medications, including IVs.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and provide education.
• Communicate with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervise CNAs.
