Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts LPN license.
• Pediatric or outpatient experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.
• Perform telephone triage, assess patient symptoms, and provide guidance to families according to established protocols.
• Document telephone encounters accurately and communicate patient concerns to providers as appropriate.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as ordered.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and health concerns.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Support patient flow and contribute to a positive patient experience.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and fellow clinical staff.
