Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking an LPN to assist physicians in clinical care, including patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The role also supports day-to-day clinical operations of the office.

Requirements include two+ years of related experience, Georgia LPN license (or multi-state license) and CPR. Oncology experience is preferred and confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience in primary care, specialty care, surgical, or infusion required as a LPN.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification and licensure as LPN in GA are required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the physician in clinical care of all patients to include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day-to-day clinical operations of the office.

Experience: Two years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

• GEORGIA LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE OR MULTISTATE NURSING LICENSE
• HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience in primary care, specialty care, surgical, or infusion required as a LPN. Oncology experience preferred.
• Must possess the sense of discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards.
• Must maintain high degree of confidentiality.
• Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records, physician's orders and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital, and or other physician.
• Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees and physicians.
• Prior experience performing oncology tests & labs required.
• NOTE: BLS within 1 month
