Job summary

Northwest Georgia Oncology Services is seeking an LPN to support oncology patients in a day shift setting. The role includes patient assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation under physician supervision. You will also assist with day-to-day clinical operations of the office.

The ideal candidate holds a Georgia LPN license, has up to six months of clinical experience, and can maintain confidentiality while applying established clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Six months clinical work in LPN role preferred.
• Must maintain confidentiality and follow clinical standards.
• Ability to understand and communicate medical orders.

Responsibilities

$10,000 Sign On Bonus - External Hires Only

Responsible for assisting the physician in clinical care of all patients to include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day-to-day clinical operations of the office.

Licenses and Certifications

• GEORGIA LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE OR MULTISTATE NURSING LICENSE

Qualifications

• Six months previous work experience in a clinical setting as a LPN preferred. Medical practice preferred. Clinical rotation time considered.
• Must possess the sense of discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards.
• Must maintain high degree of confidentiality.
• Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records, physician's orders and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital, and or other physician.
• Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees and physicians.
• Prior experience performing oncology tests & labs preferred.
