Northwest Georgia Oncology Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Care Coordinator for the day shift in Northwest Georgia. The role supports physicians in patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, and also helps manage day-to-day clinical operations.

Required: Georgia LPN license, CPR (healthcare provider), and at least two years of related experience; oncology experience preferred. Must maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Competenze

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider) required.
• Two years of related experience in primary care, specialty care, surgical, or infusion settings; oncology experience preferred.

Mansioni

Job Description

$10,000 Sign On Bonus – External Hires Only

Responsible for assisting the physician in clinical care of all patients to include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day-to-day clinical operations of the office.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Education: See License/Certification Requirements

Experience: Two years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

Licenses and Certifications

• GEORGIA LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE OR MULTISTATE NURSING LICENSE
• HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience in primary care, specialty care, surgical, or infusion required as a LPN. Oncology experience preferred.
• Must possess the sense of discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards.
• Must maintain high degree of confidentiality.
• Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records, physician's orders and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital, and or other physician.
• Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees and physicians.
• Prior experience performing oncology tests & labs required.
