Roxbury Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA, is seeking an LPN for full-time night shift coverage (6:30pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends/holidays. PRN and part-time options are available with some benefits and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The LPN will provide nursing care on designated units, document patient conditions, participate in treatment planning, and educate patients while adhering to safety and medication practices. Competitive benefits and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• PA licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse is required.
• One year of D&A and/or mental health nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit.
• Accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and promote professional nursing practice under supervision.
• Monitor and document patient condition and report findings to the unit Charge Nurse/RN.
• Monitor Nursing and Clinical Care plans and participate in Treatment Team meetings as necessary.
• Provide supportive counseling and patient education.
• Administer medications in accordance with safe practices and provide patient education.
• Respond to crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.

LPN Role/Responsibilities:

• The Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.
• The Licensed Practical Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.
• Monitors and documents patient condition and interventions provided reporting finding to the unit Charge Nurse/RN
• Monitors Nursing and Clinical Care plans and participates in Treatment Team meetings as necessary
• Provides supportive counseling and patient education
• The Licensed Practical Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices , including patient education
• The Licensed Practical Nurse responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety

Qualifications

LPN Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program
• One year prior experience in D&A and/or mental health nursing preferred but not required
• Licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a licensed practical nurse.
