Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, is recruiting a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care on adolescent, adult mental health units or a Substance Use Disorder unit in Shippensburg, PA. The role offers a full-time schedule (3 shifts per week), benefits, and potential overtime.

• Provide professional nursing care on designated units in line with Roxbury Treatment Center philosophy.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing care; document patient progress each shift
• Administer medications following safe practices and educate patients
• Respond to crisis/emergency events to ensure patient safety
• Participate in Treatment Team to develop patient care plans
• Supervise mental health technicians and assist with unit operations

This opportunity is full-time (3-shifts per week), offers full benefits, and a convenient Days (6:30am-7:00pm) schedule and rotates every other weekend and holiday

There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

This position also qualifies for up to a $20,000.00 sign-on bonus for a 2 year commitment!

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Registered Nurses will work on our Adolescent, Adult Mental Health Units OR Substance Use Disorder Unit

• The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.
• The Registered Nurse prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing care
• The Registered Nurse completes nursing assessments and documents care and progress of the patient each shift
• The Registered Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices, including patient education
• The Registered Nurse responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety
• Attends Treatment Team to aid in the development of patient care plans
• Oversees and directs the mental health technicians in patient care activities
• The Registered Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.
• The Registered Nurse may also assume Charge Nurse Responsibilities as required.
