Job Title

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Nights

Compensation, Location & Schedule

Full‑time employment, $32/hr+ (depending on role and experience). Location: Warner Robins, GA (onsite – group home setting). Schedule: 7pm – 7am nightly shift. No sign‑on bonus or relocation package offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Observe, assist with gathering health‑related data, and report the health needs of people we support to the registered nurse.
• Coordinate preventative and routine medical care for people supported.
• Document nursing care provided.
• Assist physicians with on‑site medical clinics where applicable.
• Provide health‑related trainings to unlicensed personnel according to state regulations.
• Conduct medication pass observations in the home to ensure staff competency per state regulations.
• Conduct medication closest assessments.
• Perform quality assurance checks and observations to ensure unlicensed personnel are performing health‑related tasks as assigned per state regulations.
• Observe for and report any abnormal health‑related findings to the physician.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
• Current LPN license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
• Current CPR certification or eligibility to certify for CPR.
• Possess credentials required by federal or state law.
• Able to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, the people supported, and their families.
• Able to work independently, be organized, and prioritize work tasks.
• Must be at least 18years of age.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Regularly lift and carry up to 20lbs, and occasionally pull at least 40lbs.
• Squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop as part of routine duties.
• Use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Demonstrate proficiency in CPR from floor level, requiring work on hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting.
• Maintain close, distance, and peripheral vision; able to talk and hear.
• For Deaf and Hard of Hearing programs, fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required; hearing requirements do not apply.
