Belle Terrace, now under new management, is hiring full-time LPNs who are committed to delivering high-quality resident care.

As part of the interdisciplinary team, the LPN provides direct care, administers treatments and medications, and supervises staff on shift. Open FT or PT night shifts with shift differentials and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current PA LPN license with active CPR certification.
• One year experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents on a designated unit per shift.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Organize and distribute daily assignments to care staff.
• Supervise direct care staff and adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain Flow of Care following facility policies.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assumes responsibility and accountability for nursing services delivered to assigned residents of a designated unit for one shift. The LPN Nurse provides direct care, administers treatments and medications, organizes and distributes daily assignments to direct care staff consistent with staff competency and each individual resident's comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care. The LPN supervises direct care staff and makes decisions about resident care needs during shifts concerning scope of clinical competence, consistent with facility policies and procedures. The Licensed Practical Nurse also ensures that "Flow of Care" is followed

Job Requirements:

Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

Certificate/Licenses: Current, active license as Licensed Practical Nurse in PA. Active CPR Certification required.

Work Experience: One year experience providing direct care to residents in long term care setting preferred but not required.
