Job summary

Belle Terrace in Quakertown, PA is seeking part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide direct care, administer medications and treatments, and coordinate with direct care staff on a shift-by-shift basis.

New management emphasizes quality resident care, with open shifts and shift differentials for night hours. Active PA LPN license and CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Certification/Licenses: Current PA LPN license; CPR certification.
• Work Experience: One year direct care in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents on assigned unit for each shift.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor resident status and respond to changes.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assumes responsibility and accountability for nursing services delivered to assigned residents of a designated unit for one shift. The LPN Nurse provides direct care, administers treatments and medications, organizes and distributes daily assignments to direct care staff consistent with staff competency and each individual resident's comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care. The LPN supervises direct care staff and makes decisions about resident care needs during shifts concerning scope of clinical competence, consistent with facility policies and procedures. The Licensed Practical Nurse also ensures that “Flow of Care” is followed

Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Certificate/Licenses: Current, active license as Licensed Practical Nurse in PA. Active CPR Certification required.
• Work Experience: One year experience providing direct care to residents in long term care setting preferred but not required.
