Job summary

The-Blossoms in Little Rock, AR is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) in a long-term care setting. You will round, monitor residents, and coordinate with physicians and the director of nursing to ensure quality care and safety.

Responsibilities include charting medications, administering treatments, and mentoring staff while delivering patient-centered care that respects dignity. A compact AR license is acceptable for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in AR or compact license.
• Minimum 2 years experience in nursing in a long-term care environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrates good communication, leadership and mentoring skills.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12 hour shift)

This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Specific Duties:

• Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents
• Prepares and administers medications charts as required
• Administers treatments
• Consults with physicians
• Communicates with director of nursing and staff

Job Requirements

• Long term care experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing in a long term care environment
• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed in AR (or hold a compact license)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills
