Job summary

PIEETS Advantage Services is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct and indirect resident care under supervision. You will help with daily living activities, monitor health status, and ensure comfort and safety in accordance with individualized care plans.

The ideal candidate will hold NYS LPN licensure, complete an accredited practical nursing program, have a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of LPN experience.

Qualifications

• Current NYS LPN Licensure.
• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or completion of equivalent study in an approved program in professional nursing.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• BLS certification (AHA/RQI specifically).
• 1 year experience as LPN.
• Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in care plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by responding to call lights, ensuring proper use of equipment, preventing falls, and keeping units tidy.
• Support residents' nutritional needs by delivering meals, assisting with feeding, and honoring dietary preferences.
• Provide rehabilitative care, such as range-of-motion exercises, ambulation assistance, transfers, and proper body alignment.
• Report changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to the Charge Nurse promptly and document care per protocol.
