Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our memory care communities in Kentucky. This PRN role covers a 7a-7p shift, focusing on compassionate resident care and safety within a structured care plan.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN license, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods. We offer meaningful work and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have active LPN license in the applicable state.
• CPR certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading, writing and basic math and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain close relationships with residents.
• Take initiative and guide RA and CNA staff.
• Provide stellar resident care as per each resident’s care plan.
• Make resident safety a daily priority.
• Continually assess, record, and document resident health and monitor for concerns; assist with and monitor resident medication needs.

LPNs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents.
