Job summary

Emerald Crest of Burnsville, a Cassia Community, is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a compassionate team. You will support residents in memory care, promoting independence and dignity within a warm, home-like atmosphere.

Shifts are evenings, with no weekends or on-call required. Pay ranges from $30.30 to $36.94 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. MN LPN license is required, memory care experience is a plus, and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current MN LPN License.
• Prior memory care experiences are a plus!
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes and manages common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.
• Supervises work performed by LPNs, TMAs, and Nursing Aides.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Performs additional duties as required.

Join our compassionate team at Emerald Crest of Burnsville, a Cassia Community, as a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)! In this role, you will help our residents in memory care experience independence and dignity within a loving community atmosphere.

Position Type: Full-Time, no weekends or on-call! Available Shifts: Evenings, 12:00pm to 8:00pm or 1:00pm to 9:00pm. Pay Range: $30.30 to $36.94 / hour depending on experience.

LPN responsibilities:
