Elara Caring in Iowa is seeking a Licensed Vocational / Practical Nurse to join our home health team, delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients where they live.

You will follow individualized care plans and physician orders, administer medications, educate patients and families, and work with the RN Case Manager to update plans as needs change, all aimed at improving patient outcomes and preventing hospital visits.

Competenze

• Current LVN license
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• 1 year clinical experience
• Lifting and mobility capability up to 50 pounds
• Home health or hospice experience preferred

As a Licensed Vocational / Practical Nurse you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

What is Required?

• Current State License as a Licensed Vocational / Practical Nurse

• Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, or Associate School of Nursing

• 1 year of experience in a clinical care setting

• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment

• Experience in a hospice or home health environment is preferred
