Job summary

PediaStaff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Tacoma, WA area to join our pediatric therapy and educational staffing team. You will provide safe, direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor health status, and collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary teams across settings.

Active WA LPN license, CPR/BLS, and ability to meet background check and immunization requirements are required.

Qualifications

• Active Washington LPN license in good standing with the Washington State Board of Nursing (WABON).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to meet Washington State background check and immunization requirements.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Nursing Care — Support patients with daily care needs, treatments, and routine nursing tasks.
• Medication Administration — Administer medications and treatments in accordance with WABON rules and facility policies.
• Patient Monitoring — Observe and document changes in patient condition; report promptly to supervising RN or provider.
• Wound Care — Perform wound care and dressing changes as delegated.
• Documentation — Maintain accurate, timely charting in compliance with Washington State standards.
• Care Coordination — Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, therapists, and families to support patient care plans.
