Hemingford Care Center in Hemingford, Nebraska is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our nursing team on the NOC shift. You will prepare, administer, and document medications and treatments, monitor resident responses, and assist in infection control and safety procedures.

Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, treatments, and IV lines
Record time spent performing individual treatments, in accordance with ancillary services policy, on the medication/treatment record
Ensure proper storage and security of drugs and biologicals in accordance with facility policies and procedures
Notify the physician of refusal of medication/treatments, non-compliance with a treatment plan, and resident response to medication regime with prompt notification to the physician of any adverse reactions
Keeps medication cart, refrigerator, and room neat, clean, and medication stored properly/disposing
Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing personnel, as required
Practice, implement, and supervise Infection Control, Universal Precaution, and safety policies and procedures
