Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Westminster is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide patient care under an RN on the unit. The role includes data gathering, reporting, and carrying out orders, with therapeutic procedures as needed, in an age-appropriate manner.

Holders of a current LPN/LVN license in the state, and a BLS certification (AHA approved) within 90 days of employment, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse or licensed vocational nurse in the state of practice.
• BLS certification (AHA approved) required within 90 days of employment.
• IV certification within 90 days if required by state regulations.
• One year of inpatient med-surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under RN supervision.
• Gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures.
• Deliver age-appropriate patient care per PAM Health policies.

Hourly Rate Range- $30-$40

Earn up to an additional $4/hr with shift differentials!

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Training:

Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.

Experience:

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
