Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team in Westminster, CO. The LPN/LVN will deliver nursing care under an RN's supervision, collect data, execute orders, and perform therapeutic procedures tailored to patients’ ages and needs.

Requirements include current LPN/LVN licensure in the state, BLS certification (AHA approved within 90 days), and IV certification if required by state regulations. Inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred.

• Hold current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where employed; compact licensure accepted where applicable.
• Current BLS certification required; AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required

Pay Range

USD $30.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
