Job summary

Maplewood Senior Living in Orange, CT is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for the 11pm-7am shift. You will support the Resident Services Director with nursing services, provide direct care to residents, administer medications, and contribute to wellness and assessment activities.

The LPN will collaborate with CNAs, families, and staff to promote safety and quality of life for our seniors. Must hold CT LPN license, have at least two years of clinical experience, and be able to perform

Qualifications

• Active LPN license to practice in Connecticut.
• Minimum two years of full-time clinical experience.
• Ability to perform tasks that may be physically demanding, up to 50 lbs.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists and supports the Resident Services Director with the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of nursing services in the community. Maplewood at Orange is currently hiring for Full Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification

• Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State
• Two years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience
• Experience and/or special interest working with older adults
• Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting up to 50lbs.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers and other staff members
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
