Houston Medical Center - AMG Specialty Hospital seeks Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for all shifts. LPNs provide direct and indirect patient care, communicate with physicians and team members, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
• ICU/critical care experience preferred.

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services meeting care standards.

OurLicensed Practical Nurses provide direct and indirect patient care servicesthat meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets thecommunication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, underthe supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintain regulatory agencyrequirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards.Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient’sclinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response totreatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in alldepartments with adequate supervision.
