Job summary

Plaza Community Living Center in Pascagoula, MS is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated care team on a 3pm-11pm shift. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality resident care, administering medications, and coordinating with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and deliver care including medication administration per plan of care.
• Conduct rounds to monitor resident activity and ensure quality care.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians and supervisor.
• Maintain accurate medical records during tour of duty on assigned unit.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Full time | Shift hours: 3pm to 11pm

Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) duties include but are not limited to:

• Evaluation and delivery of care including medication administration, treatments, Adl care, etc. as ordered by physician and outlined in the plan of care (according to scope of practice)
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident activity and ensure resident/patients receive quality care based on professional standards and facility policies
• Communicate with residents, family members, physicians and supervisor regarding resident status
• Maintain up to date and accurate medical records during tour of duty on assigned unit.
• Other tasks as required
