Job summary

Longwood Community Living Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time role. The position features a 2pm to 10pm shift and opportunities to grow within a caring, resident-focused facility in Mississippi.

The LPN will administer medications, perform treatments, and record patient information as directed by physicians and the care plan. Strong communication with residents, families, and the health team is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties include patient care, medication administration, and documention per physician orders.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and evaluate care with medications and treatments per plan of care.
• Conduct rounds to monitor resident activity and ensure quality care.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and supervisors.

Full time | Shift: 2pm to 10pm

Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) duties include but are not limited to:

• Evaluation and delivery of care including medication administration, treatments, Adl care, etc. as ordered by physician and outlined in the plan of care (according to scope of practice)
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident activity and ensure resident/patients receive quality care based on professional standards and facility policies
• Communicate with residents, family members, physicians and supervisor regarding resident status
• Maintain up to date and accurate medical records during tour of duty on assigned unit.
• Other tasks as required
