Job summary

Laurelwood Community Living Center has an opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring team in Laurel, Mississippi. The role is full-time with an evening shift from 3pm to 11pm, focused on delivering high-quality resident care under physician orders and the facility plan of care.

You will perform medication administration, ADL support, rounds, and charting, while collaborating with residents, families, physicians, and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• BLS license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and deliver care including medication administration, treatments, and ADL care as ordered by a physician and per plan of care.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident activity and ensure quality care according to standards and facility policies.
• Communicate with residents, family members, physicians, and supervisors regarding resident status.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records during duties on the unit.
• Perform other tasks to support resident care.
