Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an Emergency Department assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The 12-week position offers day and night shifts and a competitive weekly pay range of Maine facilities.

Responsibilities include bedside care in a high-volume ED, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, IV therapy, blood draws, and EMR documentation. LPN/LVN licensure, ED experience, IV and BW certifications, and current BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• LPN or LVN licensure required.
• IV certification within 90 days of hire.

• Monitor vital signs, patient condition, and acuity changes.

• Support trauma, triage, and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and ED protocols.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in condition quickly and accurately.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $26.48 to $37.20. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
