Job summary

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Detox

Job Type: Full‑Time | Night shift

Schedule: 3x12; 7p‑to7a; rotating weekend.

About the Role

As a Detox LPN, under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.


• Assist with medication administration, monitoring, and documentation.


• Conduct assessments and facilitate patient recovery support.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee or compact state LPN license.


• Graduate of a practical nursing program.


• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire; Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) within 6 months of hire; I.V. competency preferred with intent to obtain within 1 year of hire; Handle With Care (HWC) preferred.


• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision.


• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.


• One‑year prior experience preferred.
